Dark damp frozen,
Golden warmth,
Damp frozen earth,
turns wet and warm,
Slowly green pushes through,
Drinking the light and wetness,
Climbing to reach the heat,
Buds wrapped in green appear,
Your attentions coaxing,
Pushing prodding, teaching,
Turning the bud into a bloom,
Reaching and turning its face to You,
Great care you take,
Tending each bloom,
Even each thorn,
Is tended with care.
Overcast skies,
Dim your light
Clouding Your lessons
Causing me to lose sight,
You blow away the storms,
Standing tall protecting,
