Elusive Sleep

Dark fearful daggers,
Tearing at my soul,
Iron cold fear,
The words you spoke.

Run hide disapear,
Jump into bed,
Pulling covers over my head,
Tears at the words you spoke.

Disapointment you weild,
Causing me great shame,
My life not worth living,
So it I yeild.

Bottles containing a rainbow,
Blue, white, yellow and red,
Make my head sleepy,
So I go to bed.

Calm quiet darkness,
Wraps itself around me,
Rocking and lulling me to sleep,
In my mind I cry Master I'm sorry.

Sleep over comes me,
Silent tears roll down,
Never expecting to wake,
The sun comes waking me.

A second chance is granted,
Though my mind still cries,
Eternal sleep is not my reward,
To face you I must now do.
