A New Path

Shivering, from an icy cold,
salty crystals fall, tinkle tinkle,
Shattering as they fall,
Turning to shards, ripping flesh,
Darkness envelopes blinding the soul,
Flesh decorated with shards reachs out,
Fumbling feet stumbling, slipping, falling,
Twisting turning, sharp biting cold,
Falling through nothing going no where,
no beginning no end, just falling evermore,
In the great void of bitter cold darkness,
Creeping trendils of gold red and orange,
Silky smooth caresses brushing salty crystals aside,
Gentle probing apendages pulling shards from flesh,
Crimson trickles gently cleaned away,
Billowy soft and sheer wrappings on flesh,
Ruby red pursed and dew kissed lips,
Pressed to the brow, soft and lingering
Ruby tipped fingers trace the cheekbone,
Wrapped in soft fragrant arms of strength,
Fears embraced and and shared,
A warm hand to hold against the bitter cold storms to come.
